Walk for Water 'Unplugged' 2022
will be on Sat. 11th and Sunday 12th June. This is a 'Walk where you want' event
Walk for Water in West Surrey used to take place every year in the beautiful Surrey Hills near Guildford. We raised funds for WaterAid to help the world’s poorest communities gain clean water and toilets.
This has changed to 'Walk for Water Unplugged'
Walk when you want, where you want and with whom you want.
How do I donate to WaterAid?
You can get sponsored and/or just join in and donate however much you wish at wateraid.org/donate

Why do we Walk for Water?
We Walk for Water to raise money so fewer people (usually women and children) in world's poorest countries will not need to walk as far 4 miles to collect water, then carry it 4 miles back home.
And when they get that water home it may well cause illness and even death. 800 children a day die of diarrhoeal diseases. We can help prevent that!
The money you raise through sponsorship or donation, while enjoying your walk, will have a significant impact on someone's life. You can help to raise someone out of the stranglehold of poverty caused by living without safe water and sanitation.

Since 2010 our walkers have raised over £30,000 to help lift people in the poorest parts of the world out of water and sanitation poverty.
What better reason is there than that?
