I hire research and teaching assistants from time to time. I am currently accepting applications for both research assistant and teaching assistant positions.

1. Research Assistant (Graduate Level)

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist with academic research in macroeconomics and international economics. 

Responsibilities include:

For research-related tasks, knowledge of graduate-level macroeconomics (e.g., solving dynamic models) and proficiency in software such as MATLAB, Stata, or Python are highly desirable. This position is particularly suitable for students planning to apply to a PhD program, those currently enrolled in a Master’s/PhD program seeking a research topic, or recent graduates aiming to gain research experience.

Communication will be in English. Applicants should be interested in research in economics, macroeconomics and/or international economics. To have some ideas about possible research topics, please refer to my research webpage.

2. Teaching/Research Assistant (Undergraduate Level)

The appointee will assist with teaching activities for Intermediate Macroeconomics and International Macroeconomics. Duties may include researching topics covered in class, preparing course materials, and other teaching-related support. Priority will be given to students who have previously taken my courses.
