I am working as an associate professor at the Department of Economic Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. My primary research areas are macroeconomics, financial economics, international finance, with a special focus on emerging markets and applied econometrics. I am currently interested in emerging markets finance, climate finance and fintech. I have PhD from Delhi University and a Post-Doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I was a Visiting Fellow at LSE. Before joining IIT Kanpur, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. I have also worked in the industry for about three years.
