I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. I explore the fields of Climate Finance, Carbon and Transition Finance, and the intersection of finance and macroeconomics. I am pursuing research in emerging markets finance, climate finance and fintech. I have done PhD from Delhi University, a Post-Doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Visiting Fellow, LSE. Before joining IIT Kanpur, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. I have also worked in the industry for about three years.
