Welcome to the world of preschool! My name is Mrs. Grumbo, and I am in my 18th year of teaching preschool at Washburn Elementary School. I have approximately 25 years of teaching experience primarily at the early childhood level. My undergraduate degree (B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education) was obtained from Jamestown College. Since that time, I have obtained my ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) Credential from Minot State University, my LMO2 (Library Media Specialist) Credential from Mayville State University, and my Master of Education (M. Ed.) with a Concentration in Library Information Technology from Valley City State University. This year you will find me in the preschool all day. I have the best job ever!! In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, kayaking, singing and listening to music, and spending time with family.

My name is Mrs. Thomas and I am so excited about teaching preschool! It will be my 10th year of working at the Washburn School as a paraprofessional and my 5th year working in preschool. Prior to working at the school I worked at daycare for 9 years and then did daycare in my home for 2 years. I am a mother of 3 girls and love spending time with my family. In my spare time I enjoy camping, fishing ,walking and planting flowers. I also love spending time with my grandson!
