Facilities
Dr. Waller's laboratory is in a newly built laboratory in the Gairdiner Centre for Environmental in Innovation. Adjacent to Dr Waller's laboratory is a 1) centrifuge room, 2) a molecular biology suite 3) equipment room and chemical room. Elsewhere in the building are rooms containing facilities to prepare salt water media, ice machine, and autoclave.

The ÄKTA is equipped with automatic fraction collector, 10 and 50 mL Superloops, prepacked columns (HiPrep Phenyl FF 16/100,
MonoQ 5/50 GL, Superose 6 10/300 GL, Superose 12 10/300 GL), empty columns (XK16/20, XK26/20, XK26/40, XK16/100, XK20/100, XK50/30), and a wide variety of chromatography resins (anion and cation exchange, hydroxyapatite, gel filtration, commercial affinity, and custom affinity)
