JOIN THE BAND!
Wadsworth Community Band is open to area adult and high school musicians of all experience levels. Currently, the band is comprised of approximately 90+ amateur, professional, and student instrumentalists. The love of music and a commitment to weekly rehearsals are the basic requirements.
The band rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m., mid-September through July 4, at Wadsworth Intermediate School, 675 Broad St. There are no dues or membership fees. The group is supported by area businesses and individuals.
Pat Santelli, former Norton High School band director, is the conductor.

WADSWORTH COMMUNITY BAND MISSION STATEMENT
The purposes of the Wadsworth Community Band shall be:
1. To provide musical growth and development, along with quality performance opportunities, for amateur wind instrumentalists and percussionists in Wadsworth and the surrounding communities
2. To provide musical enrichment for the Wadsworth community
3. To promote the value of music in education and in the community
Meet our Conductor: Pat Santelli
Pat Santelli was Director of Bands at Norton City Schools from 1988 until his retirements in 2007. Prior to Norton, Pat directed bands at Holgate Local Schools and North Baltimore Local Schools. He shares his experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm each week with the 90+ members of this group.
Mr Santelli has a Bachelors of Science degree in Music Education, with a specialty in percussion, from Findley College. He also did Masters work at Illinois State University, University of Akron, and Bowling Green State University.
He has served as a Substitute Band Director in the Barberton and Copley School Districts. He attends The Bath UCC Church where he is on the Mission Board. Pat served six years on the Norton Board of Education.
