Wacky Races 2013 - Destination Ventnor, Isle of Wight

Challenges 2013:
Photo of a whole team in a rubbish skip (25 Points – extra 15 points for photos of team members planking on rubbish containers)
Photo of a celebrity doing a Gangnam Style dance with the team and get them to sign something that can be auctioned for our charities (100 Points)
Photo of the team getting groovy in a recording studio (50 Points – extra 25 points if you record your own song which can be played in the cricket club bar)
Get issued with a real parking ticket on the 19th October 2013 – bring the ticket as evidence (50 Points)
Get as many photos as possible of team members posing with men with moustaches (but not beards) throughout the day (5 Points per moustache collected – max of 50 points. Select your most impressive tache which can be entered into a favourite tache competition. The team with the winning tache will be awarded an extra 15 points)
Get a body part pierced (50 Points – extra 25 points if the piercing is on a body part other than the ears )
Photo of a team member kitesurfing on water (30 Points)
“Cake yourself” – video completely caking one team member in butter, flour and then eggs (25 Points – extra 10 points if you position lit candles and sing happy birthday to Evander Holyfield who is 51 today)
Photo of the whole team in a hot air balloon (50 Points – extra 25 points if it is off the ground)
Photo of a team member with a live snail on their tongue(25 Points – extra 25 points if you eat escargot served by a French Chef, video footage is needed to verify French authenticity)
Make the 3pm car ferry from Portsmouth Gunwarf Pier to Ryde for some banter and a catch up with the other teams (25 points)
In the Navy Flash Mob 3.30pm on the ferry (25 Points) – All acquire flags and village people head gear during the day and sing and dance to “In the Navy” together on the outside deck.
Find something that cost 9p (25 Points - weighed items are not accepted)
Perform a sunshine dance to ward of the rain - record a video of the team performing I'm walking on sunshine wearing swimwear in a fountain (30 points)

Film your team (extra 10 points if all team members feature) performing a rap about how awesome Wacky Races is and post it on YouTube, the team with the most hits on the event night win extra 60 points.

Photo of a celebrity and get them to sign something that can be auctioned for Born to Soon (50 Points – Extra 50 Points if they have been in Team GB – Extra 50 Points if they have won an Olympic medal)
Photo of one team member riding a unicycle (25 Points)
Photo of as many people as possible in a sports car (50 Points – Extra 25 points awarded to the team with the most expensive car)
Find and buy a box of Lucky Charms cereal (15 Points)
Take a photo outside Stoke Mandeville Hospital (25 Points)
Take a photo next to as many National Heritage Blue Plaques associated to James Bond as you can (15 Points per plaque)
Take a photo of the team with a ferret (25 Points)
Get a photo next to as many gold postboxes as you can (25 Points per Post Box)
Take a photo with at least one Team Member in a cat suit (25 Points – Extra 15 points per team member in a cat suit)
Photo of the team wrapped in Clingfilm (25 Points)
Find something that cost 32p (25 Points - weighed items are not accepted)
The whole team must visit The Chequers Pub, Watlington between 2.00-2.30pm say hello to Louise or Matthew behind the bar and buy a drink. (25 points)
Get one member of the team to swap outfits with a member of another Wacky team. (15 Points)
Take a photo of the team in a Jacuzzi (25 Points – Extra 25 Points if it is on and bubbling)
Get one member of the team in to bat for a cricket team (50 Points – Extra 25 points if they are able to score any runs
Pre-Race Challenge:
Get both Wacky Races and the Born to Soon Charity Broadcast before race day in any of the following methods:
Get the races and charity mentioned on a radio show: 20 Points
Get on the radio and talk to the DJ about the Races and the Charity: 35 Points
Get the races and charity mentioned on a TV Show: 50 Points
Get on TV and talk about the Races and charity: 100 Points
NB:Recorded audio or visual Proof must be provided on race day to obtain full marks.
