I created this homepage to share my publications.

You can visualize the pdf online, but you have to download it to get it in full quality.

Few pictures to illustrate my interests...

- On the left are the Vp (top) and Vs (bottom) synthetic (created by hand) Valhall (oilfield in North Sea) velocity models, on which are respectively superimposed the P (pressure) and Vx (horizontal particle velocity) snapshots at different time (0-8.4s). Note that the time in the movie goes at the same speed than the time of the simulation (if your connection is good enough...). On the right are the P (top) and Vx (bottom) seismograms recorded by receivers located at the top of the model. The horizontal axis is the offset (source-receiver distance) and the vertical axis is the two-way time. The P seismogram shows body waves only while the Vx seismograms shows body (P), shear (S) and P-S converted waves. This is the result of a numerical simulation by solving the wave equation.

Superimposition of the FWI velocity model for a North Sea application, over the migrated image obtained (using this model) by Reverse Time Migration (see the EAGE 2014 abstract). Note the high resolution provided by FWI, imaging for example a gas filled fracture (red arrow).
