Vassilios Vonikakis, Dipl. Eng (B.Eng.&M.Sc.)
, PhD 
Dr. Vassilios Vonikakis received the Diploma (B.Eng & M.Sc.) on Electrical and Computer Engineering and the PhD degree, from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. Between 2009 and 2012 he worked as a researcher for the University of Rome “Sapienza” and the CRAS Institute of Aerospace Research, in the enhancement of High Dynamic Range (HDR) radiographic medical images. Between 2012-2017 he worked as a Research Scientist for the Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC), in Singapore, a collaboration between the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and the Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*Star). He currently works as a Senior Principal Engineer in Panasonic Industrial Devices technology center, in Singapore.
