How do I apply for a grant?

We recommend you use the Philanthropy New York Common Application Form along with a short statement indicating the need and purpose of your proposed grant. We ask that your application be e-mailed to voglerfound@gmail.com.

When should I submit my grant application?

The Foundation accepts grant applications anytime on or before January 1^st, April 1^st, July 1^st, or October 1^st of each year.

When will I be notified as to when my grant application will be approved?

You should receive notification by the end of January, April, July, or October of each year.

If approved, when can I reapply for a grant?

We ask that grant recipients wait at least three years before reapplying for a grant.

Are grants made for general operating expenses?

The trustees prefer that a grant be for a specific project or program.
