I'm a PhD candidate in the Joint Program in Ancient Philosophy at the Philosophy Department at UC Berkeley. My thinking centers on questions of knowledge, inquiry, and method, particularly as these issues appear in ancient philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, and Sextus Empiricus.

My dissertation project is on the method of division (one of the most popular methods of inquiry in the Western tradition) in Plato and Aristotle. I argue that it plays an important role in the history of logic.

I'm also collaborating with Katja Vogt (Columbia University) on a book project, Epistemology after Sextus Empiricus. As part of the project, we hosted two conferences at Columbia University and UC Berkeley.
