I'm an associate professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, affiliated with the Institute for Pure Mathematics and the Institute for Probability, Analysis, and Dynamical Systems. Before coming here I did postdocs at University of Helsinki, University of Fribourg, and Aalto University, and before that I did my PhD at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

My research interests are in hyperbolic geometry, low dimensional topology and Teichmüller theory. See here for my papers and preprints.

I also have an affiliation with UiT Artic University of Norway in Tromsø and involved in the project Aurora Center for Mathematical Structures in Computations (MASCOT).

I am partially supported by EPSRC grant EP/T015926/1.

Juan's and my book has been published!

Here you can read the first few pages, including the table of content and introduction....

...and here you can buy it! (Or access an e-version through your institution's access)
