ABOUT THE CONFERENCE: NCBB 2024

The Department of Biosciences proudly hosts the 6th National Conference on Contemporary Developments at the BiotechBioinformatics Interface (NCBB 2K24).

Building upon the Virtual Institute of Bioinformatics' legacy from 2010 to 2017, this two-day event shall gather researchers, students, and professionals from diverse fields. With dedicated sessions on "GSBTM AMR Network Program: Antimicrobial Resistance, Superbugs & One Health" and the Annual Convention of "Web of Microbiologist" featuring Best Thesis and Best Publication Awards, NCBB 2K24 aims to promote innovative approaches, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and provide a knowledge exchange platform.

OBJECTIVES OF NCBB 2K24

The conference is to lay the foundation for integrating cutting-edge bioinformatics within biotechnology and allied sciences, encourage interaction between researchers from various disciplines to develop innovative theories and methodologies and provide a valuable forum for sharing expertise, exchanging ideas, and staying updated on the latest advancements in Biotech-Bioinformatics.
