Curriculum Vitae

Currently I am Full Professor in the Economics of Household Behaviour, Aletta Jacobs Chair, and Research Director at the Department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance of the University of Groningen. I am also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance and research fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO), the Netherlands Intedisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI), the Network for Studies on Pensions, Ageing and Retirement (Netspar), the Health Econometrics and Data Group of the University of York (HEDG) and the Centre for Research on Pensions and Welfare Policy of the University of Turin (CeRP). Before joining the University of Groningen in 2010, I worked as Post-Doctoral Researcher for SHARE (the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe). I hold a joint Ph.D. in Economics from the Universities of York and Padua.
