About Me:
Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. My work involves the orientation of  2D nanomaterials under the guidance of  Prof. Roland Kádár in Rheology and Processing of Soft Matter group.

Magnetic fields are used to align 2D materials in the desired orientation direction. The developed method is further used to enhance polymer-based composites' thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties. Moreover, my work also focuses on studying the antibacterial properties of the aligned composite. I am working with Vinnova Competence Centre ‘2D material-based technology for industrial applications’ (2D-TECH) to develop the technology which will help in various industrial applications of Graphene and other related 2D nanomaterials.

In the past, I have also worked as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, Marathwada Campus. After completing my PhD, I had the privilege of serving as a Director Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar.

I have done my PhD at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Department of Mechanical Engineering. My research is focused on "Design and Fabrication of Near Perfect Broadband Absorber". I carried out my research under the guidance of Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Prabhat K. Agnihotri.

I received the Master of Engineering in Production Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology University. For my master's thesis, I worked at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (2015) in Precision Engineering Division, where I carried out research on "Study and Analysis of CMMRF for Nano Finishing of Aluminium Alloy" under the supervision of Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Dr. Ajay Batish and Dr. R. Balasubramanian.

Previously, I received a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Punjabi University.  I carried out an internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (2013) under the supervision of Mr. Ashwin Rathod, Dr. R. Balasubramanian and Dr. V.K. Suri. The research involved the development of an Intrinsic Fabry–Perot interferometric (IFPI) sensor.
