The Vincent studio lab is a unit of the CEM Program in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. The Vincent studio lab is the application of information technology to the field of construction engineering and project management in order to improve construction enterprise. This includes the application of building information modeling, web-based project management, the Application of cloud service in construction, construction automation application, automated data collection and processing, and computer-based engineering information management. The lab current research interests include construction knowledge management, building information modeling, project interface management, web-based project management system, IT technology application, automation, E-Commerce related topics.
The mission of the Vincent studio lab is threefold: to conduct research in the cutting-edge of construction engineering and project management and to apply advanced information technology and emerging managerial concepts to refine the principles, methods, and practices of the construction enterprise; to advance technological innovation and state-of-the-art management techniques toward practical application in support of business objectives of our industry partners; and to prepare a new generation of researchers and industry leaders.
