I joined the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Luxembourg, as a Professor of Applied Economics, in September 2020. I am currently serving as Head of Department, and previously acted as its representative in the Research Committee of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance.
Previously, I was a Professor of Economics at the University of Nottingham, where I also acted as a Deputy Director of Research and Head of Recruitment. I received my PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics in 2006.Â
My research focuses on the impact of institutions on economic policy and performance, with ongoing research projects on collective learning, electoral accountability, and collective negotiations. My work has been published in international academic journals such as the American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, the Economic Journal, the International Economic Review, the Journal of Public Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, and Theoretical Economics.
I am also serving as an editor in the Editorial Board of Social Choice and Welfare.
