Smt Vimla Kaul
A Mechanical Engineer from Pilani in Rajasthan. Worked in Govt of India. He took premature retirement from Central Ground Water Board where he was officiating as Chief Engineer. Then he took up an assignment of Professor of Drilling in The Indian School Of Mining at Dhanbad, Bihar. After his superannuation in 1993, settled in Sarita Vihar Delhi. His fondness for serving made him join Rotay Club in 1984 in Dhanbad & later in 1995, start his own school for under privileged children “Guldasta”
Octogenarian Mrs Kaul is one of the notable contributor in this book with her essay ACCEPT AND LET GO
Born in 1934, studied in Delhi. Did her schooling in Convent Of Jesus & Mary and then completed her post graduation in History from Miranda House. Since Prof. Kaul had a transferable job, Vimla with her flare for teaching always taught in convent schools wherever they were posted.
Always had a desire to help the weak and the infirm and was thus an active worker in every organization she joined. With a view to serve, in 1985, she also joined the Inner Wheel Club -ladies wing of Rotary to get a platform for her work.
She ably supported her spouse in the venture “Guldasta’ and continues to manage the same, single handedly.
