JOIN WALLED LAKE CENTRAL'S PTSA
Membership
Greetings Walled Lake Central Community and welcome back for the 2043-25 school year!
We hope you have all enjoyed your summer. As we start the new year, the WLC PTSA Membership Drive is underway. We hope that you will continue to support us by becoming a member today. We encourage all parents, students and teachers to support our membership drive. Our goal is 100% participation. In the past our teachers have reached 100%. Let's see if the parents and students can match that this year.
At Central, we are very proud of the fact that we only need to do the membership drive each year in order to fund all of the activities we provide for our wonderful staff and students throughout the year.
The history of the PTA is rich. Did you know the PTA was a driving force behind these accomplishments?

The work of the National PTA never stops. National PTA works every day to better the education, health and well-being of today’s children.
*Promotes healthy living through its Health & Wellness initiatives

PTA Membership
Membership is open to everyone. WLCS PTAs are autonomous but supported by national, state and district structures. When you join a Walled Lake Consolidated Schools PTSA, you are helping National PTA, Michigan PTA, and Walled Lake Central PTSA.
PTA Benefits Everyone. PTA addresses issues that are important to parents and public school administrators. We fight for the same thing—full funding, quality teachers, capabilities for schools to thrive. PTAs focus on what students need to be successful in their learning, including nutrition, health, and well-being. Whether the issue is school safety, physical fitness, or healthy breakfasts, PTA works with school administrators to ensure that children are prepared to succeed. Our PTAs are self-funding. By inviting the entire community to join, we generate membership fees to pay for programs. WLCS PTAs organize fundraising events. Proceeds support school-based programs, building improvements, and educational and social events. Member Benefits PTA members enjoy special discounts from PTA National Sponsors including Barnes & Noble.com, MetLife, MedicAlert, Southwest Airlines Vacations, HP, Sharp and T-Mobile.
