Teaching Methodology
The advent of the new technological era has redefined the 'Learning Processes'. Accordingly, there has been a paradigm shift in education
with the changing times. The role of a professor has subtly shifted from being the sole ‘provider’ of knowledge to ‘facilitator’ as the student
explores for himself the expansive world of knowledge. The role has transformed from being a ‘Sage on the Stage’ to being a ‘Guide by the Side’.
The professor employs the most celebrated approach of teaching for management courses i.e. Case Pedagogy. Case pedagogy involves a
360 degree learning process wherein the student participates directly in the class room in understanding the concepts with the use of case
discussions in diverse dimensions. Case pedagogy helps in moulding the decision making skills of the student by enabling him to think in
varied angles before choicing upon any decision. The success of this approach largely depends upon the preparation of the student and
active participation.
