Biplav Choudhury

Hello! I am Biplav Choudhury, and I am currently working as a Principal Inventive Scientist at AT&T Labs, Middletown NJ.

I completed my Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2022 where I was advised by Prof. Jeffrey Reed and Dr. Vijay Shah, and I am working on modeling the risk of collision in vehicular networks from a communications perspective and how the freshness of the data impacts it. My recent work is on deep reinforcement learning for scheduling information in UAV-assisted IoT networks. A website describing our project can be found here.

Before this, I was working as a Systems Engineer at BrahMos Aerospace from 2015 to 2018. I did my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar, India in 2015.

I have cross-disciplinary interests, spanning the range of Wireless Communication, Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, soccer, and South-East Asian history.

I will be using this website to assemble my research work and interests at a single place.

Feedback is welcome.
