One Minute

One of the best resources I have discovered is an on line publication "One-Minute Astronomer" by Brian Ventrudo, Ph.D. Publisher.

At the One-Minute Astronomer web site you can subscribe to a periodic email which carries fantastic helpful information. Brian and his team have many inexpensive and helpful short courses aimed at helping the reader to enjoy Astronomy.

The web site is www.oneminuteastronomer.com I am impressed with Brian’s efforts to help others. He has produced an (MP3) audio of the book"Stargazing For beginners" which I readi on my Talking Book Player. There are many other helps available and some of them are in audio formats.

“Stargazing for Beginners: A Binocular Tour of the Southern Night Sky” AUDIO VERSION is an excellent resource and well worth reading. Its narration is clear with good description and diction. For a Blind or Print Disabled person this is a good example of how Astronomers like to share their knowledge and resources with those of us who can't see sufficiently to gain maximum pleasure from the panorama which is our shared universes. I am personally very grateful to Dr Brian Ventrudo for his generosity and extra effort producing this very useful resource for Blind and Print Disabled people.
