Membership

The Victorian Music Library is temporarily in storage.

To borrow music from the Victorian Music Library you will need to become a member. If you are interested in joining, please complete this Membership Form.

Current rates

Membership Type Entitlement Annual Fee

Students* up to 6 items $30

Individuals up to 6 items $70

Schools and Organisations up to 12 items $150

*A valid student concession card must be presented to be eligible for Student memberships.

Membership benefits

Local members can borrow for up to 4 weeks. Regional and Interstate members can borrow for up to 8 weeks.

If required, members can negotiate an extension of their borrowing period.

Members are warmly welcomed to visit the library during opening hours and encouraged to browse through the collection

For members unable to visit the library, or for those living outside the Melbourne metropolitan area, we can also provide a postage service at an additional cost. Music can also be returned to our post office address.
