Here are the Verizon Prepaid Text and Picture Messaging rates.

With the Basic Plan text messages are 20 cents each.

With the Core Plan, text messages are 10 cents each.

With the Plus Plan, text messages are 5 cents each.

With theUnlimited Plan, text messages are just 1 cent each.

Verizon Wireless operates one of the biggest and most dependable cell networks in the nation. Verizon Wireless now offers Pay as you go Wireless services.

The Verizon Prepaid "Basic Plan" charges 25 cents per minute and no daily access charge. The Verizon Wireless Basic plan is not competitive with any of the other prepaid plans. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.

Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are much better options.

The Prepaid Verizon Core Plan is 99 cents per day access and calls are 10 cents per minute. Unlimited calls to Verizon Wireless phones are free. I used the Verizon Wireless Core plan for several months, if most of your calls are generally to other Verizon Wireless phones this can be a good option.

The Verizon Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. Basically this will be the same as the Core plan with Unlimited Nites and Weekends added. Also a text message with the $1.99 per day plan is only 5 cents per text.

The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.
