Lecturer in Information Technology at the University of New England (February 2024 –  )

Postdoctoral Researcher in Telecommunications at the University of Sydney (November 2018 – January 2024)

Research in error-correction coding (error-control coding), information theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence and MIMO detection. Development of algorithms for encoding and decoding information using error-control codes and machine learning. My current research project focuses on machine learning-assisted polar code design for the next generation of mobile communications (6G). Software implementation of the proposed algorithms in C/C++, Python and Matlab. Reading and writing research papers. Student supervision. Delivering lectures on error-control coding.

Research Scientist at Cloud Crowding Corp. Datomia (December 2016 – November 2018)

Research in the area of distributed storage systems. Writing of patent applications. Design of error-correction codes for cloud storage.

Researcher, Software Engineer at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (March 2011 – June 2016)

Research and development in the area of error-correction coding. Design of new error-correcting codes and efficient decoding techniques for them. Implementation of algorithms in C/C++ (making prototypes of encoders, decoders and error-correcting codes generators). Participating in research projects for EMC, Samsung, Huawei.
