Language
As you probably know, if italian is the official language of the Country, our tipical and more spoken one, is a dialect called "dialetto veneto".
Many emigrants taught it to their sons, but if you never heard it before, you can do it now. I write herebelow a short text in dialect so that you can listen to it.

Xe sorprendente, a volte, trovarse in giro pal mondo e sentire qualche d'un che parla el to dialeto:magari nol xe mai stà in Veneto ma el te fa sentire come sa te fusi a casa tua.
Translation:sometimes it is surprising to be somewhere in the world and to hear someone who speaks my dialect:perhaps he never visited the Veneto region but he makes me feel as at home.
