We have finally gotten to see the facility we will be working in for the next 7 weeks! It's nice! It's currently pretty empty, but that's what we're here for. I've also meet with SerenDPT's designer on how to set up the website that I will be working on this term.

It's now day 4 in Venice and things are starting to get into motion. After landing on Sunday, the team had a chance to unwind, explore and settle in over the last few days before the heavy work begins. Exploring the city has been a wonderful experience, and it is clear that there will likely be new things to discover everyday. During the term, the team and I will update you on our progress with the project as well as any interesting tidbits we find about the city and culture, or our other journeys, along the way!

We've been in Venice for about a week now. Each member of the team has taken responsibility of major areas of the work and I will be developing event spaces and guidelines for H3! So far I have measured space and door widths to determine maximum capacities of all rooms. This will allow us to determine how many people each space can support so that in the future we can more easily determine what rooms an event needs to use to support the demands of its audience numbers. According to current calculations, the H3 building can hold up to 680 people, and if the Deposito or courtyard are included, the number raises to 740 people.
