Experimental:
endotoxicity test, atomic absorption spectroscopy, ICP atomic emission spectrometry, atomic force microscopy, surface force apparatus, confocal microscopy, electron microscopy, IR and UV spectroscopy, electrophoresis, HPLC, NMR, ellipsometry, light scattering, flash photolysis, time-resolved laser spectroscopy, different methods for surface tension and potential measurements, viscometry, temperature-programmed desorption, thermally stimulated depolarization.
Solved problems:
developed a new method of silicone and polyvinylchloride surface modification for different medical devices.
Encapsulation and coating of different materials by electrostatic self-assembled method for multiple applications; Developed a novel method for the layer-by-layer deposition of materials based on a controlled precipitation technique.
Developed semi-industrial setup for purification of liquids from colloidal impurities on the base of dipolophoresis.
Additional experience
in computer science: application development and mathematical programming on C, C++, and Visual BASIC for Windows, and C, C++ for UNIX class of operating systems, programming in LabView (National Instruments).
