Teaching
Modeling and Optimization is an undergrad course at the Department of Industrial Engineering (UChile), that covers linear and integer programming, convexity and a bit of non-linear optimization.
This course is focused on practice and theory of solving optimization problems where software as GUROBI and CPLEX are used to achieve this goal.
In this course we cover several contents related to manufacturing process and logistics using mathematical tools as optimization, simulation and statistic analysis. We cover mainly routing problems, inventory management, location analysis, capacity planning among others.
This is an undergrad course in the Department of Industrial Engineering (UChile).
