Srivatsan started learning Mridangam on Vijayadasami day in October 2008 from Shri. Ramesh Srinivasan. It has been a wonderful journey and we wanted to retrace the many steps (along with the mis-steps). Here is a glimpse via some unlisted youtube video clippings in chronological order which we thought you might enjoy.
We are hugely indebted to all the music schools which enabled him to grow as an accompanying artist. As parents, we must surely been pushy at times, annoying most times, and downright unpleasant a few times. Thanks for putting up with us and encouraging him in his musical endeavors.
To add flavor at his musical journey, we have added few links to his singing and foray into veena as well. We have added videos that were readily accessible, we will continue to add few more videos as and when we are able to. If we have unwittingly left out acknowledging anyone, please forgive our oversight, but know also that we are always grateful for your support.
