Short Biography
Since October 2021 I am Senior Biostatistician at Global Database Studies at IQVIA - Real Word Solution department with affiliation to Milan branch and in May 2022 I became a Line Manager. Before that, I was Senior Statistician at the Unit of Statistics and Data Analysis at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center in Copenhagen, joined in 2010 after completed my PhD in Statistics at Padua University.
I have been Scientific Coordinator (2015-2021) within the committee for managing scientific events at the Danish Cancer Society and I have been Manager of 'Study Design Workshop' (2018-2021) a series of training events, courses, and workshops in (Bio)Statistics, Epidemiology, computational software R at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center.
In April 2021, I got the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Medical Statistics (06/M1).
My research focuses on applied statistical methodology in the medical area, with a primary interest for epidemiological studies using population-based registries data, and modeling and inferring the structures of complex high-dimensional data to identify the key elements in biological processes.
