Preseason Captains' meeting on September 13th, 2015 (Sunday) at 6:00 pm
Regular season 2015-16
Most of the rounds of the regular season will be played on second Wednesday of the month.
1st Round - September 16th, 2015 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
2nd Round - October 14th, 2015 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
3rd Round - November 18th, 2015 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
4th Round - December 8, 9 and 21, 2015 at 6:30 pm
5th Round - January 13th, 2016 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
6th Round - January 27th, 2016 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
7th Round - January 20th, 2016 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm or any date before March 13th.
Playoffs - all dates and locations can be changes by agreement.
All rounds of playoffs will be played with two week intervals.
Quarterfinal - March 23rd, 2016 (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm
Locations: Surrey (EAC club), UBC and SFU
* - In the regular time of the quarterfinal match Chigorin CC vs. PoCo CC played in a draw.
One round of the tie-break on three boards with blitz time control - 3 minutes with 2 seconds increment.
The score was equal - draws on all three boards. On the draw Chigorin CC team won the right to choose the colour for the final Armageddon game (5 minutes for White vs 4 minutes for Black without increment, White have to win). Grigorii Morozov wisely chose Black. Once more the final result was a draw by perpetual check which means Chigorin CC team passes in the semifinal stage of the playoff.
Semifinal - April 9th, 2016 (Saturday) at 6:30 pm
Location: Richmond (Bridgeport and Shell Rd)
* - In the regular time both semifinal matches were finished in a draw 4.5-4.5.
5 Masters and Chigorin CC won on blitz tie-break 2-1. Without armageddon.
Final - April 20th, 2016 (Wednesday) at 6:00 pm
