Sri Ramanavami Utsavam - 2011

Sri Ramanavami Utsavam was celebrated recently at the temple for 10 days starting from Apr 11th - 20th. With commitment from local residents and bhaktas flying down from far places like Singapore, it was a celebration time at Vaduvur.

Sri Rama and Seetha were dressed up for different occasions and carried in vehicles like Garuda (Eagle), Sesha (Serpent), Hanumantha, Elephant, Surya Prabha, Mohana Alangaram (Deity dress up as Mohini), Hamsa (Swan), Horse, Thiru Ther.

The veda parayana was done by Vaduvur Veeravalli Srinivasa Desikachariar and his disciple.
