Introduction
I have charged the V1000 flasher inside a Arduino Nano board.
In this way it's possible to drive the V1000 DSP inside the pedal without desolder or replace the ATMEGA8.
Only few modification are required.
USB connection is available without the use of external converter
Note that is not necessary to remove the resident ATMEG8 because the PLUGIN works in parallel with it!
PLUGIN INSTALLATION
Remove the two 100 ohm resistence that connect the ATMEGA8 to SDATA and SCLK of the V1000 DSP
Connect these two points to D9 (SDATA) and D8 (SCLK) of the PLUGIN. Pay attention on the pad as indicated in the picture!
Connect the central lag of the four potentiometers to A0, A1, A2, A3 pin of the PLUGIN
Connect the Vin pin of the PLUGIN to the most right lag (IN pin) of the 7805 regulator on the pcb
Connect the GND pin PLUGIN to the 5th pin of the ISP connector on the pcb (near the "5P" write)
Adapt the pedal case to expose the USB connector up to the DC jack
Fix the PLUGIN with glue as indicated in the picture in the way that the ISP strip is down.
That's all!
NOTE
Additional digital output/input pin are available in the PLUGIN for LED , BYPASS management but leaving the original ATMEGA8 on the board these are not connected.
These pin are usefull if you want to use the PLUGIN on your own designed pedal:
left channel DRY signal - D3
left channel FX signal - D5
right channel DRY signal - D2
right channel FX signal - D4
LED bypass indication - D6
SWITCH push button activator - D7
