My name is Gary Uzonyi. I earned my PhD from the University of Michigan’s Department of Political Science in 2013. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in the Department of Government & Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. My research considers how uncertainty influences domestic and international political violence. It also focuses on how the international community responds to this violence. Currently, I am working on projects concerning how uncertainty influences governments' use of atrocity and international intervention into such abuse.
