This course is all about writing software documentation.
You'll learn to write effective documentation for a variety of software users, from end-users to developers. You'll learn how to create help systems, manuals, API documents, and context-sensitive help.
Assignments focus on evaluating the needs of the audience and making information easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find. Class discussions also cover the technical writer's role in the software-development process and usability evaluations for documentation sets.
