Title: “Study of Accelerometer ADXL335 using Data acquisition 34972A”
Abstract: The work deals with the study of fuel level detector using MEMS Accelerometer. The earlier method of measuring systems uses IR LED and Photodetector. Even it is simple and easy to use, it has a drawback of fixation problem because depending upon the alignment its accuracy varies. So, to eradicate this problem of fixation, we are going for this MEMS Accelerometer. It can be reduced by fixing the MEMS Accelerometer inside the floating ball and depending upon the angle of tilting the measurement of the fuel level can be determined. In this paper, we discuss the performance of the Accelerometer ADXL 335 using Agilent 34972A LXI data acquisition system/switch unit. The graphical output is obtained using Agilent Benchlogger 3(ver.4) software, where it is recorded as both graphical and also in Microsoft Excel database format. By using this type of system it’s easy to study the MEMS Accelerometer for this fuel level detector.
