Easter is often misunderstood as a simple tale of magic, or, in our current climate, co-opted by a white Christian nationalism that seeks to merge faith with political power and exclusion. But what if we look at the resurrection not as a supernatural act, but as a call to radical love and resistance? This Easter, we look beyond the empty tomb to find the historical Jesus—the dissident rabbi who stood with the vulnerable, challenged the empire, and taught that love is stronger than death.
