FASTING IN DHUL HIJJAH
Also, it is highly recommended to fast in the first nine days of sacred month of Dhul Hijjah.
And if someone is unable to fast daily, at least he/she should fast on the day of Arafah, 9th Dhul Hijjah (Saturday, 9th July 2022).
Indeed Takbeer Al-Tashreeq is one of the important acts in these virtuous days.
It is 'Waajib' for every adult Muslim to recite the Takbeer Al Tashreeq audibly (loudly) after every Fardh Salaat from the Fajr of 9th Dhul Hijja (Saturday, 9th July 2022) to the Asr of 13th Dhul Hijja (Wednesday, 13th July 2022).
This makes a total of Twenty Three (23) Fardh salaah.
NOTE: It is Wajib for women as well to recite the Takbeerat Al Tashreeq. But, they should recite it 'silently'.
Takbeerat Al Tashreeq:
الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله
وِالله أكبر الله أكبر وِللهِ الْحمد
Let’s increase our good deeds and save ourselves from any sin during these blessed days.
QURBANI / KURBAN
Eid Al Adha 2022 (1443 A.H.) will be celebrated on 10th July 2022 (Sunday) in Japan inshaAllah.
Eid Al Adha means Qurbani (or Korban). There is a great merit in doing Qurbani in these blessed days.
RasulAllah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said:
“During the days of Qurbani, Allah (s.w.t.) does not like any act more than Qurbani. In the days of Qurbani, the act of Qurbani surpasses all other acts of piety (other than Fardu acts).
Hence I would like to gently remind all that Qurani is Waajib (compulsory) on anyone possessing the value of nisab (612.36 grams of silver).
According to my calculation, the value of 612.36 grams of silver in Japan at present (today, 1st July 2022, Friday) is approximately equal to JPY 60,000/- (Sixty Thousand Japanese Yen).
Hence, Nisab amount = JPY 60,000/-
(To be precise, the value is JPY 59,950).
If anyone already has this amount in cash, or gold/silver etc. worth the value of Nisāb in possession, or is expected to receive an amount which will make his/her total possession equal to the value of Nisāb even on the morning of 10th Dhul Hijjah 1443 (10th Jul. 2022):
Performing Qurbānī is ‘Waajib’ on that person.
(We should note here that for Qurbani, just the possession of the amount mentioned above is required. It is NOT necessary to possess that amount for one full year which is a condition for Zakaah al Maal only).
For more clarification regarding which people are entitled to do Qurbani compulsorily, please visit:
http://askimam.org/public/question_detail/17837
In Japan, it is generally difficult to perform the Qurbani hence it is best to send the required amount for Qurbani to your respective countries.
Disclaimer: The calculation for the value of 612.36 grams of silver is only a rough calculation done based on data taken from several websites. The actual amount doesn’t seem to deviate much from my calculation. Hence, if one possesses amount equivalent to JPY 59,950 - one should perform Qurban as it is a really virtuous act.

Donation for Musolla
Just because a person’s life has come to an end, that doesn’t mean their deeds have to. By the Mercy of Allah, one has the opportunity to gain continuous rewards and accumulate hasanat long after they have passed away.
Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased). [Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]
This amazing hadeeth teaches us that one doesn’t just have the ability to accumulate good deeds after they have died, but one can get others to do so on their behalf. In light of this hadeeth, UMA would like to make this Sadaqah Jariyah possible for you and your loved ones.
In maintaining the Musolla we need some fund for expenses such as rental, water, gas and electricity, kerosene, etc.
May the money we spend to this Musolla shall be rewarded by Allah S.W.T. in the afterlife, Insya Allah.
