About Us

UNICO National, the largest Italian American Service Organization in the United States. UNICO, which means unique or one-of-a-kind in Italian, was founded in Waterbury, CT by Dr. Vastola in 1922. Members work to support charitable, educational, scientific and literary projects while promoting Italian heritage and combating the negative stereotyping of Italian Americans. There are chapters of UNICO throughout the United States.

The Milwaukee Chapter of UNICO and the Ladies of UNICO will be awarding $1,000 scholarships. This announcement should be of interest to every secondary education student of ITALIAN origin in the community.
