2026 REUNION INFORMATION

Greetings Shipmates.   

     The 2026 U.S.S. Duluth LPD6 Reunion will be held in San Diego California from Wednesday, October 7, 2026, to Sunday October 11, 2026.   As has always been the case, Wednesday is a free day, and no events would be scheduled.   The reunion will officially begin on October 8, 2026.   Wednesday is usually set aside for early arrivals and for some shipmates to spend some quite time together.

Please note that you DO NOT have to be a dues paying member of USS Duluth Crewmembers Association to attend the reunion.   All former Navy shipmates and attached Marines are invited and 

welcome to all of our reunion activities.

Our Homeport will be the Kings Inn  (http://www.kingsinn.com)  located at 1333 Hotel Circle South, 

San Diego, CA 92108, Phone (619) 297-2231.

The room rates are:       Wednesday and Thursday nights    $89.00 per night, plus tax  ($102.13)

                 Friday and Saturday nights         $119.00 per night, plus tax   ($136.55)

            Please note: The tax rate is 14.75% per night and,

                            $15 dollar per day parking fee, if you park a vehicle there.

 (Please Do Not Reserve Your Room Online.   Call The Hotel and Mention the Ship’s Name to Be Included in Our Group, at Our Group Rates.)

       There will be a “Business Meeting” on Thursday evening, 6pm – 8pm.   Because people attending are from different periods of time during the ship’s service period, we are allowing a substantial amount of time for people to break out into groups of friends, according to the years they served aboard. 

The Duluth Chamber of Commerce will have someone in attendance at our “Business Meeting” on Thursday, 

September 26th, to point out the various attractions and points of interest that are available in the area, arrange for

any transportation that might be necessary and answer any questions you might have.
