The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area recently hosted a special naturalization ceremony, welcoming 50 new U.S. citizens from 25 different countries. This event reflects the park’s ongoing dedication to celebrating the diversity that shapes America.
Organized in collaboration with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), this marks the sixth naturalization ceremony held at the park. The event highlighted the role of national parks in preserving the country’s heritage while also serving as a meaningful space to welcome new citizens into the American community.
