Teaching Methods Course | Developing Research Methods Skills | Developing Academic Leadership and Management skills

This training course is one of the major responsibilities of TDC. This course is provided for the new graduates of MA or PhD who are expected to take teaching positions at the University of Zakho. The Center continues to provide these training courses at least two times a year for the sake of enhancing the human potentials of the teaching staff at the university.

This course aims to: Develop in participants a critical awareness and understanding of important recent research skills, developments in language teaching approaches and methods, and academic leadership and management skills.

Learning outcomes:

Critically analyze relevant practice, including their own, in the light of current theory and practice in learning methodologies.

Formulate possible solutions to problems in their practice of learning methodologies and departmental management.

Develop strategies for implementing change in their professional practice.

Use IT to achieve personal and professional purposes.

Understanding classroom management, assessment, and construction of test questions.
