Mia Sander
I have been involved in BUGS for the last 3 years of my undergrad. I love going to events such as board game night, wetlands fest, tye-dye lab coats, and more. Going into my last year, I will have more time on my hands and want to use that to become more involved in BUGS! I am a very organized, hardworking individual who is passionate about making this club the best it can be. I love being part of the biology department, and have made lots of friends through shared interests. I believe that through my involvement, I can make BUGS more widespread, and encourage more members to join. I have also been a part of other clubs such as CCSU, women in stem, and the pre-med club. As a member of exec, I would also aim to work with other groups, to extend the club's outreach. I have worked in several customer service jobs in the past, such as serving and being a lifeguard. Therefore, I am comfortable with people, handling money, and organizing tasks.
Alternatively running for: Secretary, Treasurer
Vanna Hung
I want to be able to help create events for biology students who are seeking to find ways to relax after their classes or are wanting to meet other biology students. I’m currently an Ambassador Leader where I have the opportunity to coordinate volunteers during university events, so I understand how much work and dedication goes into planning events. Through being an ambassador leader, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, money management, event organization, and communication skills. I will use these skills that I have developed in my role to excel within my position in BUGS if I land a role. I’ve just joined the Student Science Society as an executive member, and I am excited to further develop my skills as part of this society as well.

Brynn Endicott - Undergraduate
Nominator 1: Brynn is one of the nicest, patient, involved, and intelligent people I know; and I believe that along with deserving to be a part of the committee she would be an amazing new member. She brings a lot to the table and although I’m unsure of her involvement with BUGS, I do know that she receives high grades in all her classes and is a member of the science student society and hopefully part of alpha sigma nu one soon! Brynn is extremely charismatic, fun, and easy to talk to; she’s a very easy person to like and because of this I think she’s a perfect candidate for the general student representative (but I know she’d appreciate any role open). I think you should strongly consider Brynn for your committee!
Nominator 2: Brynn is an actively engaged student in her studies and in various volunteer activities. Notably, she has a fun and dynamic personality which has equipped her with an abundance of interpersonal skills. Brynn has a special gift for bringing people together and making every event joyful.

As Event Coordinator this past year, I had the opportunity to organize events like Games Night, Halloween Trivia, Lab Coat Tie-Dye, Paint Nights, and the launch of the new BUGS t-shirts, while collaborating with students, members, and faculty.
