Innovative Entrepreneurs Instructor

Mrs. Julie Hinman is a Unit 5 Alumni who attended both Chiddix Junior High and Normal Community High School.  She attended the University of Iowa and University of Illinois where she received her BFA. She work for many years in the field of advertising/graphic arts/marketing.  She spent time training interns which she enjoyed and prompted her to pursue teaching.  She attended Illinois State University where she received a   Masters in Education, Type 75 Certification in Administration, and National Board Certification in Career and Technical Education.  She has been a teacher at Unit 5 for 20 years in addition to serving as a department chair. In addition, to she runs her own business focusing on company branding and advertising.
