Cohort Groups for the Two Semester Projects
Below is the list of cohort groups for the two major semester projects. Each group will work collaboratively throughout the semester to complete both projects. The first project involves the analysis and evaluation of textbooks, and the second requires you to adapt a textbook so that it better reflects your own teaching principles, school curriculum, students’ needs, and learners’ proficiency levels and interests.
Each cohort group consists of four students. Because both projects are substantial and require careful discussion, planning, and shared effort, active collaboration and clear communication among group members will be essential. I encourage each group to work cooperatively, make full use of each member’s strengths, and approach the projects as an opportunity for meaningful professional learning as well as teamwork.
I hope these group projects will allow you not only to deepen your understanding of textbook evaluation and adaptation, but also to develop the kind of collaborative skills that are important in real educational settings.
