UMW Historic Preservation Club's 36th Annual Ghostwalk has been transformed into a new, socially distant, experience! Celebrate the spooky side of Fredericksburg this October by taking a tour of the final resting place for over 3,500 doctors, lawyers, clerks, soldiers, mayors, congressmen, and average citizens. Our guides will dive into the history of this Virginia Historic Landmark and point out famous burials and notable symbols that define American funerary practices in Fredericksburg. In light of COVID-19, we hope that Graves & Ghouls will offer a fun alternative to Ghostwalk, which has become a beloved community event. Again the Historic Preservation Club has vowed not to disappoint in the 2020 incarnation of this haunted occasion.
