To Add a new connection, use the menu button from the connections screen and click on the add connection button. Below are the descriptions of the fields on the new connection screen.
Site Name:
The site name is a name for this site that will show on the connections screen. It can be anything that that you want it to be.
Site URL:
The URL to the site (or sub site). You must include the URL just like you would in a browser with the http or https prefix. You should not include the page.
Here some examples of correct URLs:
http://mysharepointsite.com
https://anothersite.com/sites/sales
http://mycompany.com/depts/hr
Here are some examples of bad URLs:
http://mysharepointsite.com/Pages/Default.aspx
https://anothersite.com/sites/sales/Documents/All Documents.aspx
http://mycompany.com/depts/hr/Pages/Dashboard.aspx
Username:
The username to use when accessing the site.
Password:
The password to use when accessing the site.
Domain:
When connecting to a server that uses NTLM authentication, this is the active directory domain that the username belongs to.
Authentication Type:
NTLM - This the standard Windows user login information. You will need to supply the username, password and domain to connect.
FORMS - This is Form Based authentication. You will need to supply just a username and password.
Please NOTE, all user names and passwords are encrypted before they are stored on the phone, but when connecting to servers using HTTP (non SSL) the passwords are sent in plain text to the server.
