I see the list "VALIDUSERS" is populated but it does not contain the specified user as defined within the file "/etc/stats.conf"; the
list of allowed/valid users may be left blank or it may be explicitly configured/defined. This list and other stats preferences can
be setup using WHM via Statistics Software Configuration. Access this area in WHM and then, under "User Permissions" click "Choose Users." The next page that loads is "Choose which users can modify their statistical software"; once here, move the desired username from "Available Users" to "Allowed Users", or, as an alternative to just moving one user, either click "Add All" if you wish to have all users explicitly allowed or click "Remove All" if you wish to implicitly allow or deny based on the setting (on the previous page) "Allow all users to change their web statistics generating software."
To clarify and reiterate, if you wish to allow all users to modify their stats preferences, you may either:
"Add All" users to the allowed "VALIDUSERS" list, defined in /etc/stats.conf as setup via Statistics Software Configuration in WHM.
Or, "Remove All" users from the allowed "VALIDUSERS" list, and verify that "ALLOWALL=yes" in "/etc/stats.conf" that can be safely toggled via the "User Permissions" setting/option "Allow all users to change their web statistics generating software." of Statistics Software Configuration in WHM.
Once either the user is added to the allowed list, or all users added, or all users removed, please re-run stats via root SSH access (using the same command as seen earlier):
Code:
# /scripts/runweblogs username
